The Bindery

 

Book binding, in Medieval styles and through the ages by hand. Demonstration and goods for sale plus watercolours and cards of Lincolnshire Wolds and Coast. Public will have chance to try a simple binding themselves.

Tatterfoals Morris

 

Scunthorpe based mixed Morris Team. They will be dancing for us during the afternoon.

Pole Lathe Turner and Green Woodworking

 

The pole lathe is a foot operated wood turning device that dates back over 2000 years to the Iron Age. This method of wood turning uses green, freshly cut wood, traditional tools and techniques which leaves an authentic tool marked finish. The woodware is then sealed using edible oil.
